The Knights kicked off their 2022-23 season in the Hornet Classic at the Creek, placing fifth in the match. The event took place from Sep. 19-20 at the Kings Creek Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Del.
FDU concluded the three round match with a team score of 915, which was +63 par for the course.
Victoria Schroedl picked up right where she left off last season, turning in an impressive individual score of 223. Schroedl tied for the eighth spot in the event among 65 competitors.
Three other Knights were able to finish in the top 30, including Abbey Baker who tied for 12th place with a score of 224, Anete Adul who tied for 18th with a score of 231, and also Apichaya Chirakunakorn who tied for 28th with a score of 237.
The Knights will have a fairly quick turnaround as they will prepare for the Princeton Invitational taking place from Sep. 24-25.
