Men’s Golf Takes Places 10th in Hartford Hawks Invitational

On Monday, Sep. 19, FDU men’s golf, traveled to South Kent, Conn., to compete in the Hartford Hawks Invitational. The event wrapped up on Sunday, Sep. 20 with the Knights coming in 10th out of 16 competitors. 

FDU finished with a total of 871 strokes, which was +7 par for the course. The best round for the Knights was the first, as they were able to finish in 286 strokes.

Sophomore Leon Heitz finished with a 215 three-round score for the Knights, which put him in a tie for 12th place. Graduate Jaime Julve wouldn’t trail too far behind as he would finish tied for 16th with a 216, followed by Pyae Phyo Thu who tied for 32nd with a 218.

Next up FDU will travel to Villanova, Pa. ,where they will compete in the Wildcat Fall Invitational, Sep. 26-27.
