FDU was able to pick up a win against NJIT 3-1. The Knights would quickly go up two sets to none and eventually close out the game in a fourth set.

Together the front line of Tatijana Fucka, Sofia Rampazzo, and Kylie Nott combined for 33 of FDU’s 47 kills in the victory. Fucka led the way with 12 kills for her squad, followed by 11 kills from Rampazzo, and ten kills from Nott.

Fucka also put together a nice defensive game as she also led her team in blocks with eight.

Allegra Rivas had herself a solid performance at the libero spot, pulling off a game-high 25 digs in the four-set contest.

The Knights now look ahead to their next scheduled tournament which will be the Fairfield Invitational taking place from Sep. 9-10.
