The Knights were unable to overcome Fordham, losing 3-2 in the five set contest. The Knights controlled the way through three sets as they took the first and third set by scores of 25-18 and 25-15. Unfortunately they were unable to finish the job as Fordham stormed back, taking the fourth set 25-13 to tie the game up and then eventually the deciding fifth set 15-9 for the win.

Unlike their last matchup against Northwestern State where they led all but one major stat category of the game, the Knights would be outmatched on all fronts in this contest with Fordham holding the advantage in points, kills, aces, blocks, assists, and digs.

Megan Brzozowski was a major help for Fordham as she put up an incredible 49 assists which was by far a game high.

For the Knights Allegra Rivas was the only player to lead in an individual stat category as she came up with a game high 17 digs.

The Knights will now look ahead to two games scheduled for Sep. 3 as they get set to take on Niagara and Penn to round out the Rose Hill Classic.
