The Knights beat non-conference opponent Navy 1-0 Friday, Sept. 2, and remained unbeaten at 2-0-1.
The Knights were scoreless up until the final seconds of the first period. Jayd Hamdaoua scored on an assist by Joshua Ferreira at the 44:16 mark. It was Ferreira’s third assist in as many games.
The Knights were credited with 15 shots on goal. Goalie Spencer King compiled three saves to preserve the FDU lead.
FDU is now the only team in the NEC without a loss.
Next up they will look to keep the momentum alive as they take on UMBC on the road on Sunday, Sep. 4.
