Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Competes in Father Bede Invitational

On Friday, Sep. 2 the FDU men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the Father Bede Invitational in Tyrone, Pa.

The men competed in a 6k with Yahnik Martin turning in the best performance of the event for FDU with a 21:59.6 finish time that earned a 41st place finish. Liam Deep and Matthew Ulloa would also finish top 60 in the match. 

The women would compete in a 5k as Cassandra Meyer placed the best for FDU with a finish time of 23:46.5 which was good enough for top 70. 

The Knights will now look ahead to Sep. 10 as they prepare for the Fordham Fiasco in Bronx, N.Y.
