Fri-YAY: Men’s Tennis Secures Another Victory

The Knights emerged victorious once again after defeating the LIU Sharks on Friday afternoon at the LIU Tennis Center.

FDU took the lead for the doubles competition with sophomore Arjun Sriram and graduate student Moric Budinszky winning their match at the No. 3 spot. Seniors Mehdi Dhouib and Niclas Pietsch also defeated the Sharks at the No. 1 spot.

For singles, freshman Justas Trainauskas emerged from the No. 2 spot with victory. In the No. 6 spot, sophomore Younes Adnane fell short. Pietsch fought hard at the No. 4 spot before dropping. Dhouib won in the No. 1 spot and Sriram secured a victory at the No. 3 spot, but Budinszky lost in the No. 5 spot.

The Knights seek to host the Wagner Seahawks for Senior Day today at the FDU Tennis Courts.
