Men’s Tennis Faces Challenges at Weekend’s Matchups

The Knights kicked off their weekend series with sighs as men’s tennis fell to the Bryant Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon at the Bryant Tennis Courts.

FDU took the lead in doubles but striked out in singles, 6-1, which caused them to lose their fourth conference match of the season.

The Knights made a comeback, however, as they triumphed against Merrimack on Sunday afternoon at Cedardale Health & Fitness, scoring their first conference win against the Warriors. Men’s tennis knocked out the Warriors in doubles, earning doubles points and crushed through singles– ultimately taking down the Warriors, 4-3.

Our Knights head out to Westbury, N.Y. to face the Sharks, Friday, April 5, with hopes of securing another win for FDU at LIU’s Tennis Center.
