Men’s Tennis Defeated at Temple

The men’s tennis team was defeated at the Temple University Pavilion Tennis Courts in Philadelphia on Tuesday, March 8.

Some notable performances in singles included freshman Justas Trainauskas, who won against the Owls’ Gregoire Barety. Sophomore Arjun Sriram conquered Temple’s Louis Gorregues in two sets, tying the match at 1-1. 

In singles action, freshman Fernando Tardin dropped the second match to El Tawil in the No. 5 spot. Sophomore Aryan Manchanda lost in the No. 6 spot and senior Niclas Pietsch lost to Temple’s Thibault Frumholz in the No. 4 spot.

The Temple Owls proved triumphant over the FDU Knights in doubles action. 

Up next, the Knights will compete against the Queen’s Knights at the Queens College Indoor Tennis Center on March 21.
