The softball team completed the three-day UNF-JU Spring Break Challenge this past weekend at the Debbie & Fred Pruitt Softball Complex in Jacksonville, Florida.
The Knights fell short at the event, winning only one of the five games. On Friday, the Knights won the first game against Monmouth with 11-0 but lost the following game to North Florida with 0-8. The second day, the Knights lost both games with 11-0 against Holy Cross, and 3-4 against Jacksonville. On the last day, the Knights faced Monmouth again, but lost 6-5.
Up next, the Knights will face Monmouth yet again for a doubleheader in West Long Branch, N.J. on Tuesday, March 15.
