FDU’s softball team ended its doubleheader weekend with a close victory over East Carolina.
The Knights did not start their doubleheader weekend strong, taking a loss against their first opponent, Villanova. Cassidy Triska scored the only run of that game as the Knights lost 3-1.
The Knights then came back in their second game to win in a very close fashion. Multiple players attributed their six runs to total their close 6-5 victory against East Carolina, ending their doubleheader weekend on a very strong note.
The Knights will host their home doubleheader taking on Columbia University on Wednesday, March 2 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
