The women’s tennis team faced a gloomy morning as they dropped their match to St. John’s Red Storm at the USTA National Tennis Center this past Friday, Feb. 18th.
Beginning in doubles play, Marta Bettinelli, Amina Lasheen, Aleksandra Vorozheikina and Gauri Bhagia dropped their matches in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, leaving the third match unfinished. St. John remains defeated as they take the victory in all of the single matches.
The FDU women’s tennis team will soon head out on the road to face Temple today in hopes of bringing back home a win for the Knights.
