The FDU men’s tennis team earned its three-win streak after defeating Villanova on Saturday, Feb. 19 at the Brigade Sports Complex in Annapolis, Maryland.
During doubles, Arjun Sriram and Moric Budinszky won against Trey Fourticq and Anthony Prokurat in the No. 2 spot. The Knights earned the doubles point after Justas Trainauskas and Niclas Pietsch emerged victorious in the No. 1 match.
In the singles match, Sriram defeated Justin Suarez at the No. 3 spot. Fernando Tardin defeated Matt Jones at the No. 4 spot. The Knights assured their win through Pietsch’s victory over Ryan Nguyen at the No. 6 spot.
The Knights face Navy on Sunday, Feb. 20 at the Brigade Sports Complex.
