FDU’s bowling team scored three victories out of seven total matches against their NEC opponents on the weekend of Feb. 5.

The Knights carried their momentum from the success of their prior invitational, scoring the first victory in the opening game of day one against Saint Francis. Sophomore Juliana Spina led the Knights scoreboard with a 257.

Unfortunately, this would be the Knights’ only victory on day one, losing the rest of their Saturday games. They would bounce back with two victories on day two over St. Francis Brooklyn and Wagner.

NEC Bowler of the year Amanda Chrzanowski proved to be an essential leader to the Knight’s team with her consistent high numbers on the scoreboard despite the losses.

The Knights hope to strike more victories and work as a team when they hit the lanes of Greensboro, NC at the Stallings Invitational on Feb. 25.
