The Knights lost both matches on the first day of the First Point Collegiate Challenge Tournament after a recent schedule change which canceled their match against NJIT. The Knights faced Stanford and Hawaii and lost in three straight sets in both matches on Friday, Feb. 4.
In the match against Hawaii, Artem Vetrov had seven kills. Jack Lydon had six kills and Lorenzo Bonomo also had six kills. Rui Fernandes also had 22 assists while Grady Hoffman had eight digs.
In the match against Stanford, Artem Vetrov had 11 kills. While Jack Lydon had nine kills. Rui Fernandes also had 20 assists and seven digs while Grady Hoffman had six digs.
With these two losses, the Knights are now 0-4 overall.
The Knights will look to take one in the tournament when they face Queens on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 4 p.m. After this matchup, the Knights will return home to face the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 7:00 p.m.
