The women’s basketball team fell to Manhattan by a score of 69-55 on Nov. 28 on Sunday afternoon.
Although it was a tough loss, there were some notable performances. Aniya Bell made her first start and finished the game with 14 points. Madison Stanley had 13 points while Devyn Scott had 10 points.
Manhattan shot 28-66 (42.4%) overall, 6-19 (31.6%) from the three-point line and 7-10 (70.0%) from the free-throw line.
FDU shot 21-50 (42.0%) overall, 5-13 (38.5%) from the three-point line and 8-12 (66.7%) from the free-throw line.
With the loss, the Knights have a record of 2-4 with all the teams tied for first in the NEC because the teams have yet to face NEC opponents.
The Knights will look to get a win in their next game when they face Binghamton on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 7 pm.
