The Knights dominated in the game for their first win of the season despite their leading scorer, Dahomee Forgues, only playing 12 minutes and going scoreless after getting into some early foul trouble.
Cornell only shot 11-56 (19.6%) in the game and 2-16 (12.5%) from the 3-point line as the Knights were hounding them on defense for most of the game. Cornell also attempted 20 free throws but made only eight of them, giving them a 40% average from the line.
The Knights rallied big time in their first win of the season. They finished the game shooting 18-43 (41.9%) overall and half of those makes were threes as they went 9-16 (56.3%) from behind the 3-point line.
Mbanefo and Mulroy led Cornell with nine points each, followed by six from Snyder and four from Green.
For the Knights, scoring was coming from everywhere. Devyn Scott led all scorers in the game with 14, followed by 11 points from Rachael Niles, nine points from Chloe Wilson and eight points each from Celia Carbonell and Sierra DeAngelo.

Halftime Update:
The Knights started strong as they find themselves up 27-12 going into the next half of play.
FDU’s defensive pressure rattled Cornell early as they shot 5-25 (20%) overall and just 2-8 (25%) from deep. Cornell only got to the line twice and missed both of their attempts, while also turning the ball over ten times.
The Knights did not shoot the ball well as they were only 7-20 (35%) overall, but their three point shooting was key as they were 4-10 (40%). The Knights also did some significant damage at the free-throw line as they went 9-9.
For Cornell, Olivia Snyder led the way with six points, followed by three points each from Shannon Mulroy and Ania McNichols.
The Knights had an even distribution of offense with Niles, Wilson, and Scott each putting up five points, followed by three from Celia Carbonell.
