“Spider-Man: No Way Home,” the next installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has put the world in a frenzy on social media and beyond.

The third installment of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy is gaining lots of attention and hype due to the literal opening of worlds the movie promises to bring.

The film takes place after the events of the sequel “Spider-Man: Far From Home” and goes into the story of Tom Holland’s Peter Parker after his secret identity has been exposed. The greatness of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man story can stand alone, but what is making this movie different from any other is the storytelling of the Multiverse.

The Multiverse has been developing in recent movies of the MCU, but when it comes to Spider-Man, the Multiverse possibilities can mean something very special to the fans.

If one reads any forums online or sees anything related to the movie on social media, they know exactly what fans want: the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Men in the MCU.

Numerous leaked photos and speculation have accumulated to support the idea that they are certainly going to be in the No Way Home movie to join Tom Holland’s universe; however, neither Marvel or Sony have confirmed Maguire or Garfield as official cast members.

Andrew Garfield has been asked questions in numerous interviews as to whether or not he was in the movie, but has yet to confirm his appearance.

The second trailer having no sign of Maguire or Garfield can be seen as a disappointment to many fans. However, they can hold onto hope as many details of the movie have yet to be revealed.

Numerous villains appear in the “No Way Home” trailer, including villains from Maguire and Garfield’s universe movies. Former Spider-Man movie villain actors such as Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina as Electro and Doc Ock have already been confirmed.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” continues to build even more hype just hours after the second trailer release. It looks like fans will have to wait just a little longer to see if their own visions for the movie become a reality.

Spider-Man: No Way Home releases exclusively in theatres on December 17.
