The Knights lose 89-68 to start off their season.

For the Thunderbirds, they have shot 37-69 (53.6%). From down the field, they have shot 8-22 (36.4%) and from the free-throw line their 7-11 (63.6%). 

The Knights have shot 23-63 (41.3%). From down the field, they have shot 8 – 24 (33.3%) and from the free-throw line their 8-11 (72.7%). 

For the Thunderbirds, Peoples led with 24 points scored. Correa contributed with 22 points and Bailey had 16. 

For the Knights, Forgues led the Knights with 26 points scored. Wilson and Scott had a combined 23 points, Wilson with 14 and Scott with nine.

Peeples and Bailey make layups for the Thunderbirds as Deangelo responds with one of her own to make the score 87-68 with 1:44 left in the game.

Patterson and Fogues exchange threes as the score becomes 83-66. 

8:30 p.m.

Peeples makes the layup and makes the score 80-63. 

Forgues hits the three and a jumper while Patterson drives in the layup to make the score 78-63.

Peeples gets sent to the free-throw line and makes the score 76-58.

Forgues hits the three and the Knights are within 16 and makes score 74-58 

Correa and Forgues both get sent to the free-throw line to make the score 74-55.

Deangelo follows up with a layup and gets within 20 as the score becomes 73-53.

Deangelo gets sent to the free-throw line and gets the Knights within 22 to make the score 73-51 with eight minutes left in the quarter.

Wilson gets sent to the free-throw line as she makes one to make the score 73-49.

Peeples makes two layups to start off the fourth quarter to make the score 73-48.

The Knights enter the fourth quarter as they look to make a comeback.

Correa hits the three and drives in the layup to put the Thunderbirds ahead by 20 with a score of 63-43.

Both teams respectively missed their shot attempts to keep the score 57-43.

Bailey makes the jumper as Stanley responds with one of her own to keep it within 10 as the score 53-43.

Forgues gets the Knights started in the third quarter to get the Knights within 10 to make the score 39-49.

Halftime Update

The Knights look to get on a run as they enter the third quarter and second half of the game. 

For the Thunderbirds, they have shot 21-37 (56.8%). From down the field, they have shot 5-11 (45.5%) and from the free-throw line their 2-4 (50%). 

So far, the Knights have shot 15-32 (46.9%). From down the field, they have shot 4-13 (30.8%) and from the free-throw line their 3-3 (100%). 

For the Thunderbirds, Peoples leads with 14 points scored. Bailey has 10 while Correa has 8. 

For the Knights, Wilson is leading with 11 points scored. Forgues and Scott have a combined 15 points, Forgues with eight and Scott with seven.

As the first half of the games comes to an end the score 49-37 with FDU down by 12.

Correa and Deangelo exchange jumpers to make the score 49-37 as the first half of the game ends.

7:39 p.m.

Niles drives in the layup to make the score 47-35 with less than two minutes in the quarter. 

Peeples makes the layup but Carbonell responds with the three to get the score to 47-33. 

7:32 p.m.

Wilson makes the layup while Zabrecky gets the jumper to get the score to 45-30 with St. Johns up by 15.

7:31 p.m.

Cosgrove and Forgues exchange threes to make the score 43-28. 

Wilson gets the three while Peeples for St. johns makes the layup to get the score to 40-25 with 5:18 left in the second quarter.

After a hot streak on both sides with the first quarter ending and the second beginning the score is 38-22 with St. Johns up by 16.

Devyn Scott ends the 13-0 run for St. Johns with a layup through contact, Scott converts on the FT.
