FDU Men’s Soccer Takes the Win Against Howard Bison

The Knights defeated the Howard Bison in a final score of 5-1 on Senior Night, Sunday, Oct. 31.

The Knights had a great opening during the match as their first goal was scored by FDU’s Diego Arribas, who was assisted by Tony Gomez in the first half of the game.  This victorious lap proceeded for the Knights to follow up with a second goal scored by Rocky Garretson with the assist off of Alberto Herranz Lopez and Diego Arribas.

The Howard Bison came back with a vengeance, scoring their first goal to secure a tie off with the Knights.  

However, the Knights fought back the Bison’s attack with a final goal nearing the end of the first half, which was scored by Tony Gomez, leaving the score of the first half 3-1.

The second half continued on with the success of the Knights with goals by Stefano Pesce and Adrian Barajas.  

With the win, the Knights have a successful record of 7-6-3 overall and  5-1-2 in the NEC. 

The Knights will look to get back on the field against Mount St. Mary’s at Emmitsburg, Maryland in Waldron Family Stadium on Nov. 7 at 1 p.m.
