Women’s Volleyball Falls to Saint Francis

The Knights lost to Saint Francis in four sets on Saturday, Oct. 23. 

A tough loss but the Knights had notable performances. 

The women’s volleyball team posted a season-high 14 blocks as a team. Alix Christie had a season-high seven block assists. Sophia Spiridonakos led the Knights with nine kills and three blocks. Miriam Stingl also contributed with eight kills and three blocks. 

Pauline Giordano also helped with 28 assists. 

With the loss the Knights are 6-16 overall and 1-7 in the NEC ranking them seventh in front of Merrimack. 

The Knights will look to get back in action on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. when they face the Bryant Bulldogs at home.
