The men’s and women’s cross country teams finished their regular season at the CCSU Mini Meet on Friday, Oct. 22 in New Britain, Conn.
For the 5K men’s event, Yale placed first with a total of 47 points. Central Connecticut and Providence placed second and third. The Knights finished the event with a total time of 1:28:34.
Graduate student Shevan Parks led the Knights with a time of 16:16.7 and finished in 61st place out of 91 runners.
For the 3K women’s event, New Hampshire placed first with a total of 48 points. Quinnipiac and Central Connecticut placed second and third. The Knights finished with a total time of 1:08:42.
Graduate student Jazmyn Lewis led the Knights with a time of 12:06.6. Lewis finished in 80th place out of 89 runners.
The cross country teams will prepare for the NEC Championship meet on Saturday, Oct. 30 in New Britain, Conn.
