The Knights (5-5-2, 3-0-1 NEC) outplayed Bryant (3-5-2, 2-2-0 NEC) in a conference match by a score of 2-0 on Sunday, Oct. 10 at Bulldog Soccer Field in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Both goals were made in the first half.

Diego Arribas opened the scoring for FDU at minute 20, through a bicycle kick, converting on a pass from Stefano Pesce to give the Knights an early lead. The goal ignited the energy of the Knights.

Jordan Alonge blocked a shot taken by Bryant’s Samuel D’Agostino with a header at minute seven. Arribas took possession of the ball off the header, which allowed Hugo Bacharach to continue the Knight’s dominant play by scoring the second goal in the eighth minute, on a pass from Arribas.

Three yellow cards were given out in the first half. The Knights received two and Bryant received one.

With this win, the Knights are currently ranked second in the conference. The Knights are also undefeated in NEC play this season.
