The FDU women’s tennis team scored victories at the ITA Regional Championships in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the weekend of Oct. 2-4.
The tennis team competed over the weekend and had an impressive outing on day one.
Marta Bettinelli, Namie Isago, Gauri Bhagia and Smriti Singh competed as doubles and had victories in the first rounds before both losing in the second round of doubles of 32.
Bettinelli and Aleksandra Vorozheikina both scored singles wins over their opponents, leading them to another round of singles competition on day two where they came up short of victory.
The Knights are set to participate in another regional on Oct. 15-18 at the Princeton Super Regional.
