The Fairleigh Dickinson’s women’s golf team took part in the Navy Fall Invitational in Annapolis, Maryland on Saturday, Oct. 2.
The Knights came in fifth with a par score of 112.
The Knights went against 12 other schools in a match of 18 holes, equaling to a par score of 72.
Sacred Heart University came in first with a par score of 93 and the University of Richmond and Navy came in second and third, respectively.
On the final day of the invitational, The Knights tied with Quinnipiac for sixth place after their completion of the Navy Fall Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 3.
The women’s golf team dropped two places from the previous day but made up five spots from their competition at the Princeton Invitational.
The team managed to improve by two strokes during the second round, ending with a score of 620. They were led by Victoria Schroedl, who managed to get identical rounds, with a 76 for each.
Hope is not lost, though, because the Knights will be competing in the Delaware Lady Blue Hen Invitational in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Oct. 16 and 17.
