The Knights lost their second straight to St. Francis Brooklyn in five sets on Saturday, Sept. 25 at the Rothman Center. They tried to power back after falling behind two sets but fell to the Terriers in the fifth set, 15-13.
However, there were some notable performances. Madisyn Beirne led the Knights with 15 points, including 13 kills, two service aces and two blocks. Brooke Stevens had a career high of 13 kills and contributed three blocks and Pauline Giordano posted a double-double with 33 assists and 15 digs.
The Knights fall to seventh place in the NEC behind St. Francis Brooklyn. The team looks to bounce back when they face Sacred Heart in Fairfield, Conn. on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.
