That will do it as FDU extends their winning streak to six games as they defeat Bryant 53-47 in the first round robin game. 

FDU improved to 15-7, 11-6 NEC as Bryant falls to 7-13, 5-11 NEC. 

FDU shot 4-8 (50%) from the field, 1-3 (33.3%) from three, and 8-10 (80%) from the free-throw line as Bryant shot 6-16 (37.5%) from the field, 0-1 (0%) from three, and 1-2 (50%) from the free-throw line

In total, FDU shot 18-45 (40%) from the field, 4-14 (28.6) from three, and 13-16 (81.3%) from the free-throw line as Bryant shot 21-59 (35.6%) from the field, 0-17 (0%) from three, and 5-7 (71.4%) from the free-throw line.

Roters led FDU with 22 points as Scott added seven points. Bjelko led Bryant with 117 points as Taylor added eight points.

Bryant’s leading scorer is Senior center Brooke Bjelko with 15.5 PPG and Sophomore guard Nicole Gallagher with 11.6 PPG.

FDU will close out the regular season tomorrow at 4 p.m. in the second round robin game against Bryant in the Chase Athletic Center Main Gym in Smithfield, RI.
