After Bergen County stopped the distribution of COVID-19 vaccinations a few weeks ago, Bergen County has developed a new vaccination site list.

Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli said the state plans to increase the number of vaccination sites to reach the goal of vaccinating 70% of the adult population in Bergen county, according to Patch.com.

Gov. Phil Murphy recently announced that there is a vaccine hub where New Jersey residents can find vaccination sites and detailed information.

“We’re working strategically and efficiently to vaccinate our frontline health care workers, law enforcement and fire professionals and long-term care center residents and staff,” Murphy said.

Judith Persichilli said the number of sites are expanding even though the number of vaccines are decreasing, Patch.com continues.

Persichilli plans to continue to expand the number of mega-sites that can hold up to 1,000 people per day, Patch.com also said.

Bergen County is currently the fourth most vaccinated county in New Jersey where 18,912 doses are being administered per 100,000 people, according to nj.gov.
