LIVE BLOG: FDU Men’s Basketball Against Sacred Heart

FDU wins the first round-robin game 82-69 in an offensive battle.

FDU shot 13-22 (59.1%) from the field, 3-7 (42.9%) from three, and 11-11 (100%) from the field while SHU shot 12-27 (44.4%) from the field, 4-12 (33.3%) from three and 5-6 (83.3%) from the free-throw line in the second half.

In total FDU shot 29-53 (54.7%) from the field, 7-21 (33.3%) from three, and 17-17 (100%) from the free-throw line, while SHU shot 25-54 (46.3%) from the field, 11-29 (37.9%) from three and 8-13 (61.5%) from the free-throw line.

Jenkins led the Knights with 19 points as Square Jr. added a career high 15 points. Rush and Williams added 13 points each as Powell added 6 points.

Thomas had 22 points with Clarke and Sixsmith adding 11 points each for the Pioneers.
