Managing Editor Amaya Morales will be producing the live blog for tonight’s game with our student lifestyle editor Naniyah McClain updating Twitter throughout the game.
FDU is coming off a 52-46 loss to LIU which is their second consecutive loss as they fell to 8-6 on the season. Senior forward Madison Stanley led the Knights with 18 points and 13 rebounds in the loss as her presence on the court since she came back from injury has been immense.
Stanley leads the Knights with 13.9 PPG with Sophomore guard/forward Maria Roters averaging 11.1 PPG as well. The Knights currently sit sixth in the NEC standings with a 4-5 record in the NEC, while LIU sit seventh in the standings and are 3-6 with a 3-6 record in the NEC.
The Knights need a win tonight to snap their losing streak to avoid falling to the bottom half of the standings and need to stay in the top half of the table to secure a top four spot to advance to the NEC Tournament.
