FDU Basketball Returns to Practice After COVID-19 Cases

 FDU men’s and women’s basketball returned to practice this past weekend, according to Twitter,. This announcement comes after both programs had positive COVID-19 tests recently, a past Equinox article reports.

The FDU men’s team is scheduled to return to play on Jan. 21 against Merrimack, the time of the match is yet to be determined. The women’s team will also return to play against Merrimack on Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Rothman Center. 

Yesterday FDU Athletics announced via Twitter that a 21st sport will be coming in 2021, following last week’s announcement that men’s volleyball will be the 20th sport in Athletics. The announcement for number 21 will be made on Tuesday, according to Twitter. 

COVID-19 Numbers

As of this morning, there were 4,686 new COVID-19 cases  in New Jersey, with 480 in Bergen County.
