In today’s daily news update, we discuss the latest on the House of Representatives’ attempt to oust President Donald Trump.

Let’s get right into it.

Vice President Mike Pence made clear Tuesday night that he does not support invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office, according to CNN.

The attempt by House Democrats to impeach Trump for a second time comes after rioters overran Capitol Police and breached some of the most secure areas of the Capitol, attacks said to have been incited by Trump, continued CNN.

The vote to impeach Trump will be made today, setting up an impeachment vote one week after the insurrection.
