That will conclude FDU’s press conference as men’s volleyball will be the 20th sport at FDU starting in 2021.

Hurlbut took a photo with the presented check and the volleyball uniform as the press conference ends with a graphic for men’s volleyball coming in 2021.

First Point Volleyball Foundation has partnered with FDU Knights Athletics for the addition of the volleyball team and presented Hurlbut and FDU Athletics with a $200,000 check.

We look forward to competing with fellow NEC schools and competing around the country next season,” Hurlbut said.

“We will now begin the nationwide search for our men’s volleyball coach to begin the season next year,” Hurlbut said.

The press conference kicks off with assistant athletic director Bryan Jackson introducing athletic director Brad Hurlbut, he gets right into the press conference and announces that men’s volleyball will be the 20th sport in the FDU athletics program.
