The Knights are 2-6 on the season with a 1-1 record in the NEC.
The Knights have had a rocky start to the season with starters Devon Dunn and Xzavier Malone-Key opting out of the season due to COVID-19 concerns. Malone-Key also entered the transfer portal and committed to Oregon State University.
Multiple men’s team players have been suspended this season for breaking university protocols, now a COVID-19 outbreak is among both of FDU’s basketball programs as this announcement comes a few days after the women’s basketball team paused activities due to a positive COVID-19 test in the program.
Now, both teams will not be playing in the foreseeable future.
