(TEANECK) – With the season opener against Seton Hall on Nov. 11 fast approaching, FDU basketball stars Mike Holloway and Earl Potts Jr. are both hobbling around campus.
After several students noticed Holloway in a walking boot, The Equinox reached out to Sports Information Director Bryan Jackson for an update on his condition.
“He’s just banged up a little,” Jackson said. “Nothing worth mentioning.”
When other students reported seeing Earl Potts Jr. with a walking boot and crutches, The Equinox reached out again to Jackson for comments, he did not respond in time for this publication.
The Athletic Department announced yesterday that the Kinghts had been picked to win the NEC in a pre-season poll. That could be a stretch if Potts Jr. and Holloway aren’t completely healthy.
